User Accounts
Users can create accounts, log in and access the platform based on their role.
A SaaS web application taking a business idea from concept to a working platform, with user accounts, subscriptions, role-based access and an admin console.
Built for founders and businesses turning a service, process or idea into a software product people log into.
Idea to platform
Turning an idea into a SaaS product is mostly about decisions: which features the first version really needs, how accounts and permissions work, and how the product will be run once real customers sign up.
This project covers that journey: from mapping users and their core tasks to launching a secure web app with sign-up, dashboards, roles and the admin tools needed to run it.
The idea was clear, but the product wasn't. There was a long feature wish-list, no agreed structure for accounts and permissions, and a real risk of spending months building features before learning whether customers wanted them.
The product idea needed a clear structure
User roles and permissions had to be planned properly
Workflows needed to be simple for real users
Admins needed control over users, data and activity
The interface had to feel clean and easy to use
The platform needed a structure that could grow over time
The first version needed to be small enough to launch quickly and solid enough to grow, with the core user journey working end to end before anything else was added.
SaaS Product Structure
We defined the minimum viable product around the one job users most needed done, designed and tested the key flows as a clickable prototype, then built the platform with authentication, role-based access, the user dashboard and an admin console for the team running it.
Users can create accounts, log in and access the platform based on their role.
Different user types can see the right screens, actions and data.
Each user gets a clean dashboard with information and actions relevant to them.
The platform supports the main business workflow from start to completion.
Admins can manage users, records, settings, activity and system content.
The app stores and organises important information in a structured way.
Dashboards and activity panels help users and admins understand what is happening inside the platform.
The system is planned so new features, workflows and integrations can be added later.
A user signs up, verifies their account, lands on a dashboard built around their main task, completes it and is guided to the next step, while admins see accounts, activity and support requests from their own console.
The user enters the platform through a secure account.
The system shows the right dashboard, permissions and actions based on the user role.
The user completes the first action, submits information or starts a request.
The platform stores the activity in the right structure.
Users and admins can see progress, status or next steps.
Admins manage records, users, tasks or workflow movement from the admin panel.
The dashboard gives visibility into user actions, platform usage and business activity.
Users can access the platform through their own secure accounts.
Different users can see different screens, actions and data based on their role.
Dashboards show the right information for users, admins or managers.
Admins can manage platform users, activity, settings and records.
The app supports the key business process from start to finish.
Important information is organised for reporting, filtering and future growth.
The interface is planned around real users so the product stays simple and usable.
The system is structured for future updates, improvements and support.
Launching a focused first version means real feedback within weeks instead of months, and a codebase structured to add features, plans and integrations as the product finds its market.
Before
After
The business has a live product it can sell, not just a plan. Users can sign up and get value on their own, the team can manage accounts and support from the admin console, and the roadmap is driven by real usage.
